Description

As a key player in the company's future, the Logistics Agent will contribute to the team’s efforts in business development and in the optimization of existing accounts.

  • Assist the logistics coordinator with daily tasks
  • Act as an ambassador for the company to customers
  • Answer customer's phone calls and emails in a timely manner
  • Order taking
  • Data entry into the computer system
  • Act as a link between customers and the various teams within the company
  • Perform follow-ups on shipments with suppliers and customers
  • Ensure you have all necessary documentation at the time of shipment
  • Complete all charters and records requested by client agreements
  • Track in-transit and stationary equipment, based on written schedules, customer requests or as required in case of an emergency
  • Obtain information on the pickup and delivery environment for each shipment
  • Use and optimize the database to be able to coordinate shipments
  • Update data regarding current shipments
  • Making appointments for transporters
  • Any other related duties
Requirements
  • ACS or DCS in transportation logistics or any equivalent training
  • Less than 3 years of experience in the air and/or ocean freight forwarding industry
  • Bilingual (English-French) spoken and written
  • Good listening and communication skills both orally and in writing
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Ethical and professional in their work behaviour
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
