A key player in the company's future, the Logistics Coordinator will participate in the growth of the company by offering personalized and innovative services. You will do more than simply move goods from one point to another: you will help our clients by ensuring a proper management of their supply chain.

  • Order taking
  • Data entry in the computer system
  • Ensure that the customer has all the documentation required to proceed with the shipment
  • Ensure that the customer's SOP will be met according to their needs
  • Proceed to the reservation with the chosen shipping line
  • Send the reservation confirmation to the customer
  • Forward our instructions to the trucking company to pick up the container (if needed) and handle the VGM if required
  • Ensure that all relevant export information is received: container, seal, exporter number, commercial invoice, packing slip, etc.
  • Complete the export declaration (if required)
  • Send shipping instructions to the shipping line for issuing the bill of lading
  • Perform verification and approval of the bill of lading
  • Produce certificate of insurance (if required)
  • Track shipping and update the ERP system
  • Prioritize shipments based on urgency or importance
  • Find solutions to various logistical problems that may occur before and during the movement of goods
  • Use various databases so that shipments can be coordinated
  • Customer complaint management
  • Act as a link between customers and the various teams within the company
  • Ensure that customer requirements are met in the service offering
  • Follow up on shipments with suppliers and customers
  • Advise and inform clients on the various services and options available
  • Help clients determine their overall service and equipment needs
  • Negotiate transport prices
  • Obtain transportation quotes from foreign agents
  • Perform quotations
